Synopsis

Vinland Saga – Season 1 follows Thorfinn, a young Icelandic warrior whose life is consumed by revenge after his father, the legendary warrior Thors, is killed by the cunning mercenary leader Askeladd. Determined to avenge his father, Thorfinn joins Askeladd's band, hoping to one day challenge him in a fair duel. Set during the Viking Age, the story takes viewers across war-torn England and Scandinavia, where political intrigue, brutal battles, and the harsh realities of war shape Thorfinn's journey. As he grows from an innocent child into a hardened fighter, Thorfinn begins to question the path of violence and vengeance that has defined his life.
